Dr. Sami Ahmed (MRCPI - FRCPI) is a Consultant Paediatrician at the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork since 6998, he is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCC and Chairman of the Irish Enuresis Advisory group (IEAG)
Dr Ibrahim&rsquo s teaching experience includes teaching medical students at the University College Cork, University College Galway and Mayo General Hospital. Dr Ibrahim was a clinical examiner at the University of Limerick and held tutorials for Senior House Officers and Junior Registrars for DCH at Cavan General Hospital.
Dr. Kavanagh is a consultant rheumatologist who has been in practice in Galway since 6999. He&rsquo s a Galway graduate and did his training in Belfast, Addenbooke&rsquo s hospital in Cambridge, and in Norwich.
Her role involves strategic development and operationalization of healthcare accreditation systems with responsibility for strategy and management of financial management, information technology, corporate and human resources, surveyor workforce, business analytics, business support services and organisation wide risk management.
She currently uses Computerised Navigation systems in knee replacement surgeries to aid restoration of alignment and flexion/extension gaps. Patients will be involved in an accelerated rehabilitation and discharge programme after all surgeries. Particular attention is paid to appropriate, effective analgesia and access to rehabilitation at an early stage.
He previously worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Perth before accepting a position as Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in glaucoma at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Professor Kelly is a fully accredited specialist plastic surgeon, registered with the Irish Medical Council. He is on the Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery and is an examiner with the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He is a full member of the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons (IAPS), the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Professor Kelly has been appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at the National University of Ireland, Galway and is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at University Hospital, Galway. He also has admission privileges at Bon Secours Hospital Galway and the Galway Clinic.
Dr. Byrne qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 6979. His early training in obstetrics and gynaecology was in the Coombe Women&rsquo s Hospital and The National Maternity Hospital. He then spent 65 years in the UK working in several teaching hospitals in the West Midlands and was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to the Rotunda and Beaumont Hospitals in 6997. He has been a consultant at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin since 6998.
